Agreed, your art is really good. The only thing is, there are gonna be trolls here and there. But really, all you gotta do is block em. So yeah, just a bit of advice. And if you need a little help, and no one knows what you are talking about. Go to the forum, just read the rules first. Most people on the forums don't like when people don't follow the "Hi I am new" threads and such.

Unfortunately the iPad's accuracy is nothing compared to the actual cintiq.
Granted you could probably afford the Cintiq12 one day if you save enough.

It's much smaller and easier to travel with. Not as much detailing ability as the large one but who needs to be like Pixar at home?
As for SketchbookPro, I'm still new to it. But so far it's easier to understand it compared to photoshop when it comes to the idea of drawing.
If you've ever used a "Paint" program as a little child, it's essentially the same thing.
But the basic strategy is to use layers to sketch a rough draft, color behind, darken over another layer, delete the rough draft, erase the extra color, etc.
It's essentially using a real sketchbook. The best programer for illustrators in my opinion.
Haha of course iPad is a drop of water compared to a Cintiq, but it's nice to have something to practice digital art when I'm in a long bus ride or in a park. I'll have to give that Sketchbook Pro a go too! :)

Unfortunately the screen size is SO small it's hard to get a clear idea of what you're doing. However, if your not used to seeing everything then the larger Cintiq21 is a bit overwhelming. But the Cintiq21 costs nearly twice as much.
However, if you feel you can make due with just a Tablet, then a Wacom Bamboo is the most affordable product.

It's the perfect way to introduce users to a virtual pen. It's just a little weird having to use your eyes to look at the screen while keeping your hand on just your pad.
I already have an Intuos3. =P I will probably only get the Cintiq when I'm actually making money in the industry, since my Intuos is quite adequate and portable. :D

Aww you're sweet! I've been lusting after the Cintiq ever since it came out. I had a go with one 2 years ago in a convention, but in my honest opinion I had a hard time getting my head around the fact that my hand blocking what I'm drawing. Kinda got used to the tablet hah! But yes, I would totally splurge on one if I could...
I've heard good things about Sketchbook Pro - do you know what the difference between that, Photoshop, SAI and Painter, and their similarities? I'm thinking of getting it for iPad. ^^ So.. it's KINDA like a mini-cintiq! XD
